Sarah Kenny is an arts educator and administrator with a wide variety of experiences. Currently, Sarah is the Manager of Education and Outreach for Disney Theatrical Group based in New York City. There, Sarah manages the local Disney Musicals in Schools program, an outreach effort that establishes sustainable theatre programs in urban elementary schools as well as coordinates the national expansion of the program. Sarah also develops and implements teaching artist professional developments, designs curriculum and support materials for musicals made expressly for young performers, and manages the summer internship program. Previously, Sarah worked as the Senior Education Program Associate at Roundabout Theatre Company in NYC and as a kindergarten – 5th grade Dance & Drama Teacher in Illinois. Sarah served on the NY Theatre in our Schools conference committee for 3 years and as the Conference Co-Chair for two. Sarah is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Educational Theatre at the City College of New York.
